Congratulations to Tim Marsh (SKCC) in winning the 2009 Nemisis Aggregate series. Marsh came into the last race for aggregate points on top of the leaderboard by 1 point over Gabriel Carey (SKCC) and 2 points up on Jayden Van Dort (Mac).

Marsh has been a recreational rider for many years and only this year trying out road racing for the first time. He quickly moved through the Northern Combine grades, starting off with a 3rd place in E grade at his first race (and season opener) and ending with a 1st in C grade at the last scratch race for the aggregate series.
Marsh and Van Dort had been fierce competitors with each other throughout the series both fighting for the Winners Jersey right to the last race. Coming into the last race Marsh had a 2 minute advantage over Van Dort in the Handicap. Carey had the toughest mark out of the top 10 aggregate riders at second scratch. When Marsh received a double puncture 10Kms into the handicap he looked in trouble of losing the series. He pulled out of what would become the winning bunch in the race. Marsh watched on from the finish line eagerly awaiting the outcome of the hill top finish. His biggest threat would have been Ukotic in the led bunch of 6 riders 10Kms from the finish line and the best placed of the remaining top 10 aggregate contenders. Ukotic having won a handicap on the same circuit earlier on in the year would have been serious threat, however, having just got back on the bike after a 2 month break the best he could manage was 5th giving Marsh the series win.
On hand at the last aggregate race was Carl Cubit, manager and owner of Nemisis Athletic Apparel who presented Tim Marsh with the Winner's Jersey.

Full Results will be uploaded shortly
